Past Events

Earth Day - April 17 & 18 - Alameda Park, Santa Barbara - This event is hosted by the Community Environmental Council (CEC) and will feature a Green Car Show including the newest hybrids, plug-in hybrids, fuel-cells, biodiesel, electric, and other advanced technologies. The car show was on Santa Barbara Street, between East Sola St. and East Micheltorena St. C-5 had a display at the car show and handed out literature on alternative fuel vehicles. Earth Day - April 18 - Atascadero Zoo - This family oriented event showcased environmental and education exhbits. C5 shared a booth with the APCD and provided information on alternative fuel vehicles, the Car Free Program, Climate Change and general information on air quality. Fun Ride a C5 stakeholder was also at the event and showcased some of the alternative fuel vehicles that people can rent by the hour or day.

Earth Day - April 22 - San Luis Obispo, Farmers' Market - C5 hosted an Green Car Show at the Farmers' Market in downtown San Luis Obispo Thursday April 22. The vehicle display was set up on Broad Street between Monterey St. and Higure St. and included compressed natural gas, propane, hybrids, electric, and biodiesel. This was a great opportunity to learn more about the alternative fuel vehicles available on the market today.

Earth Day - April 24 - San Luis Obispo Mission Plaza - C5 shared a booth with the APCD and provided information on alternative fuel vehicles, the Car Free Program, Climate Change and general information on air quality.
